Submissions
The Ember welcomes essays and long-form reviews dealing with ideas, art, literature and performance. The Ember also welcomes thoughtful reflections on day to day banalities. Submissions are not paid at present, but the more high-quality writing that we publish from the marginal regions of the arts and humanities, the sooner that will change. So, if you’re sick of thin and lukewarm reviews and shallow genuflections to cultural idols, or if you have a boundless enthusiasm for thought, communication and argument, submissions or ideas can be sent to: mailbox@theember.com.au.
